Course Description:

While the program is is composed of two parts, a 30 hour Managing Brokers Principles Course and a 15 hour Managing Broker Practices Interactive Session. You may take asll 45 hrs On Line. When completed you will contact the school to arrange for your final exam of 75 multiple choice questions.

Licensing Requirements:
These are the requirements for an individual to obtain an Illinois Managing Brokers  License. Note: A newly appointed Managing Broker may be appointed and act as a managing broker for a 90 day period while they complete the following requirements.

21 years old
Good moral character
Need to be licensed at least 2 out of the 3 prior years as salesperson or broker
High school degree or its equivalent
165 hours of pre-license education (45 hours additional in the year before applying for managing broker’s license).
Focused on brokerage administration and management and 15 hours in classroom or other interactive delivery method.
Take and pass exam
Application with sponsor card and pay fees
Illinois attorneys in good standing are exempt from the pre-license education requirements. You will still need a license to act as managing broker.
