Salesperson to Broker Transition Course - 30Hr. Salespersons
Course Description:

After May 1 2011, all salesperson licensees in Illinois are required to transition to a brokers license. This can be done in two ways. 1. By taking a 50 question  transition AMP Proficiency Examination and passing it with minimum score of 75% or by taking a 30 hour Salesperson to Broker Transition course and passing the 50 question course exam. Keep in mind that those that transition by proficiency examination must still complete 18 hour of CE by April 30 2012.  Those that complete their transition by this 30 hour course will not have to take continuing education.

While the program is is composed of two parts, a 15 hour Basic Brokers Principles Course and a 15 hour Broker Practices Interactive Session.  You may take all 30 online). When complotted you will contact the school to take your final exam of 50 multiple choice questions.

Licensing Requirements:
Be at least 21 years old;
Have graduated from high school or obtained the equivalent of a high school degree (GED);
Have successfully completed the 90-class-hour Real Estate Transactions course at a real estate school approved by the  Department                     of Financial and Professional Regulation. An additional  30 Hour Post course will be also be needed prior to your first renewal period.
