Real Estate Salesperson to Broker Transition Course - 30 Hr.
Course Description
Licensed salespersons who want to transition to a brokers licence (or those who have failed their proficiency exam) will need to take this course and pass the final exam with a minimum score of 75%. They may then make an application for an Illinois Brokers Licence. Salespeople have until April 30, 2012 to complete their transition or lose their licence. Student making transition by this method do NOT have to take any continuing education classes by April 30, 2012.

The class covers the following topics: Definition of Real Property; Encumbrances; Real Estate Closings; Fair Housing Acts; Interest in Real Estate; Contracts; Real Estate Brokerage; Mathematics; Transfer of Title/Title Records; IL Real Estate License Act; Ownership; Leasehold Estates; Property Management; Legal Descriptions; Appraising; Financing.
