Our Courses

Our pre-licensing programs are designed to fulfill the necessary course requirements and prepare you thoroughly for the state licensing exam and application.

The 75-Hour Broker Pre-License Topics course is the first step on your journey to becoming a broker! Regardless of which type of course you choose, the content includes: license law, real property, agency, financing, marketing & advertising, contract knowledge, buyer & seller relationships & counseling, state & federal laws and real estate transactions. You must complete and pass this course before you may continue on to the 15-Hour Interactive Course.

You can choose the 75 Hr Classroom or On- line Course. The 15 Hr Applied Practice can only be taken by classroom .

All Illinois licensed Real Estate Brokers ( those licensed as a salesperson or broker prior to  February 1, 2018) must take 12 hrs of continuing education to renew their Brokers license prior to the April 30,2020 deadline.   REEC has teamed up with Hondros Learning  to offer this unique 12 Hr. CE Online Program complete with online e-tools to make the class enjoyable and interactive. When you have completed the course work you can renew your license

In addition to offering our regularly scheduled courses, we are also able to provide cost efficient training on an in-house basis for clients; like community colleges, real estate firms, property management firms, developers and various real estate related associations.

We offer all the courses listed in the courses and continuing education sections on of this website as well as in-house programs and others that we may develop at the request of a client. We can create a training solution for your organization, customized to meet your staff’s availability, location and timing of the training all agreed to suit you needs.

A managing broker is a broker who has the responsibility to manage an office or agency, all aspects of operations, conduct of agents or others in that office and compliance. The managing  brokers primary responsibility include recruiting , training, retention, the professional development and the administrative support of the real estate brokers in their office.

To qualify to take the managing broker exam for Illinois, the following requirements must be met:

  • Be at least 21 years of age

  • Hold an active valid Illinois real estate broker license

  • Have had an active real estate license for two of the past three years

  • Have completed the required curriculum of 45 managing broker course hours at a real estate school approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

The 45-Hour Broker Pre-License Topics course  is broken up into two components a 30 hr On Line real estate Managing Broker Principles Course an a 15 hr Managing Broker Interactive Classroom course
